Navegando pelas águas dos relacionamentos.

Pode ser difícil navegar pelos relacionamentos por causa de uma variável importante: a outra pessoa! Devido a essa grande incógnita, podemos estar seguindo alegremente nosso curso, fazendo o melhor possível, quando de repente nos encontramos em meio a uma crise de relacionamento. Algumas das horas mais difíceis de nossa vida podem ser exatamente aquelas em que temos problemas com as pessoas.

Qualquer tipo de relacionamento pode fazer-nos sofrer. Conflito com a mãe ou o pai, com um irmão ou uma irmã, com o marido ou a esposa, com o filho ou a filha, com um parente, um amigo, um pastor, um chefe, um vizinho, o namorado, a namorada ou com o colaborador talvez nos provoque dor no estomago, um nó na garganta ou insônia. Isso acontece porque. Quer reconheçamos ou não, os relacionamentos são muito importantes para cada individuo. Não é possível viver sem eles. Nem Deus quis isso para nós. Ele nunca planejou que vivêssemos completamente separados de outras pessoas. Muito do que Deus quer realizar  em nós ocorrerá a medida que crescemos nos relacionamentos com as pessoas que ele coloca em nossa vida.

Todo relacionamento requer um sacrifício. Todo sacrifício tem uma recompensa. Se conhecêssemos  as recompensas, não hesitaríamos em fazer os sacrifícios. Parte do sacrifício que devemos fazer em um relacionamento é confessar o orgulho e as necessidades. Precisamos ser amados, cuidados, valorizados e respeitados, mas essas necessidades jamais serão satisfeitas quando as exigirmos e, sim, quando abrirmos mão delas. Humilhar-nos e considerar as necessidades do outros superiores as nossas pode ressuscitar um relacionamento que sofreu ferimentos mortais.

Manter-se no caminho certo em qualquer relacionamento significa livrar-se do excesso de bagagem pessoal. Falta de perdão e inveja são exemplos dessa bagagem. Essas atitudes negativas criam ruptura em qualquer relacionamento e ficam sempre evidentes, mesmo que os demais não reconheçam exatamente o que estão vendo.  Os momentos críticos dos relacionamentos podem ser minimizados se nos humilharmos diante de Deus e pedirmos que Ele nos guie, passo a passo, sempre que a inveja e a falta de perdão se fizerem presentes. Trata-se de um sacrifício que sempre resulta em grande recompensa.

A melhor maneira de proteger seus relacionamentos é certificar-se de que o principal deles é com o Senhor. Então peça que Deus seja o Senhor de todos os seus relacionamentos. Ore por eles e busque a mãe reconciliatória de Deus onde for necessário. Embora possamos fazer muito ao oferecer nosso amor e perdão a outros, só Deus pode abrandar suficientemente o coração das pessoas para que possam recebê-los. Peça-lhe também isso.

Visando a aparar as arestas dos relacionamentos, creio que o melhor é lembrar duas coisas: liberte as pessoas e agarre-se a Deus. Essa perspectiva pode ajudá-la a superar as falhas da carne e elevá-la à esfera dos milagres.  Quanto mais forte for o seu relacionamento com o Senhor, tanto melhor serão os demais relacionamentos. Os momentos difíceis de qualquer relação podem fortalecer sua caminhada com o Senhor à medida que você se aproxima mais dele. Portanto torne Deus o foco de sua atenção e confie em que fará brilhar uma luz especial quando seu caminho cruzar o de outra pessoa.

E conhecereis a verdade, e ela vós libertará.

"E conhecereis a verdade, e a verdade vos libertará." - João 8:32. Que verdade é essa a qual Jesus se referia? Do que devemos ser libertados? Talvez naquele tempo essas palavras foram dirigidas ao seus discípulos, e não a nós. Mas a palavra de Deus se renova, ela tem vida e é eficaz, se aplica a cada um de nós, não importa em que ano nasçamos ou em que sociedade vivamos, a palavra de Deus ainda terá valor.

Ao ler o livro A Travessia de Wm. Paul Young, eu aprendi que a verdade é relativa. Se você acreditar fielmente em algo aquilo se tornará real e verdadeiro para você, embora aos olhos dos demais não seja visto da mesma forma. É por isso que encontramos tantas rachaduras na parede da sociedade, tantos partidos políticos, tantos pensamentos diferentes.

Como sabermos então o que é verdade de verdade? Pergunta boba e quase infantil, mas a realidade é que poucos adultos, sábios ou filósofos encontrarão resposta para tal. Simplesmente porque além de relativa a verdade é complexa. Por isso muitos filósofos a deixam pairando no ar no formato de um grande ponto de interrogação. Você já tentou resolver um problema de matemática do qual você não tinha a resposta? Daqueles tão, mais tão complexos que deixam até mesmo os professores em duvida? Então nos deixamos guiar pela lógica, pelos cálculos e encontramos, se não o certo, pelo menos o resultado mais cabível a situação. O mesmo acontece na vida. Como cristã eu não posso fazê-lo crer nas mesmas coisas que eu, eu posso todavia lhe explicar o por quê creio no creio e vivo da maneira que vivo. É pura lógica!

Muitos se questionam: "por que na Bíblia há tantas proibições?" Porém o que muitos vêm como proibições eu vejo como conselhos, temos que entender que Deus acima de tudo é Pai, e como todo Pai, Ele quer nos proteger, então Ele nos adverte dos perigos da vida, das tentações, dos caminhos que nos levarão a queda; mas também assim como todo pai, Deus nem sempre passa a mão sobre as nossas cabeças, não! Ele permite que passemos por momentos difíceis, o que não significa castigo, mas sim aprendizado. Seu pai (ou mãe) não faz o dever de casa por você, faz? Ele não vai cair da bicicleta no seu lugar, vai? Ele não irá procurar emprego para você, irá? Da mesma forma Deus, nem sempre Ele irá dar tudo de "mão beijada" para você, mas Ele estará sempre ali quando você precisar.

Se eu estou escrevendo para alguém que é já é cristão, compartilhem essa mensagem; se você não é cristão, mas tem um grande problema para ser resolvido, refaça os cálculos, repense suas escolhas, e dê uma chance para esse Deus entrar na sua vida, habitar em seu coração e renovar seu entendimento!

Never asked why.

My prayers to God always were 'God, don't give me what I don't worked for'. I never wanted easy money or easy opportunities, because I believe (and actually I've already seen) that what comes easy goes equally easy. But when you work hard to get something, you give it the due value and you know how much it costed to you, so you'll take good care of it.

This thought has been in my prayers for years now, but I can't deny, sometimes I wish things were easier than they are. We consider ourselves 'the righteous' people, so we think we deserve the best, and when this "best" doesn't happen we get upset, upset with life, upset with God. We see the wicked prospering in their way. We think: "They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills." (Psalm 73:4-5)

Looking by the human sight, the wicked might have the best of this world, indeed they have. But what we constantly forget is that we have the best of the universe, we have our name written in God's hands, we have our name in the book of the life, we have our sins forgiven, we have salvation, and if you're worried about money and stuff, have you ever heard about the New Jerusalem? The city God and Jesus are preparing for us? If you are worried about your struggles and constantly pain in this world, have you ever thought about how the Heavens are? No pain, no cry, no worries. Only joy, the joy our Father always wanted for us to have, the feeling He always wanted for us to feel, His love, in the purest form, fully and everlasting.

That's why I never asked why. Why am I poor? Why am I suffering? Why am I sick? Why? Why? Why? I don't have all the answers, but He has. I can stay here fighting with myself or I can fight the good fight and one that day comes you can ask God himself. So, my advice to you is: stop asking God why, and start asking how. "How can we do this?" Don't fight alone! Let God be God in your life.

Cada um de vocês me inspira e a força de cada um me surpreende. Cada um de vocês é uma poderosa parte de um quadro maior. Uma vida que está evoluindo a cada dia. Você é uma parte deste movimento por uma razão. Eu li em algum lugar: “Cada palavra ou pensamento seu  pode ser como uma pérola, que você pode deixar em algum lugar secreto de outro coração, e em algum momento de necessidade, esse coração encontrará esse tesouro e perceberá pela primeira vez o seu valor.”

Veja, a mudança acontece com todos e cada um de vocês, com suas histórias e com a sua voz. Todos nós possuímos essas pérolas e você ajudou a este movimento crescer e atingir milhares de pessoas por ser corajoso. Eu constantemente encorajo cada um de vocês para compartilhar a sua história porque foi lhes dado um dom: o dom de uma voz. Então honre isso. E use isso para uma mudança positiva. Use-a para que outros possam ser inspirados por sua força e saber que eles não estão sozinhos. Todos nós lutamos. Somos todos humanos. I love Him because He loved me first.

I guess all my words won't be able to explain you how I really feel about His love for me, because as I once heard 'the love can't be explained, but felt', so even though I use all the beautiful and deep words them will never be enough to explain that love, because it is not any kind of love, is a special and unique kind of love, a love that sacrifices Himself just for we may live, a jealous but respecting love.
So assuming that my words won't be enough, I have to tell you about Jesus, actually I think is almost impossible that you never heard about Him, didn't you? if you didn't yet, you need to know Him asap! Don't you know how to do that? Is easy, just say a prayer, a little simple prayer, He is a prayer away from you.
And trust me, none will love you like Him, NO ONE!

Christians are known as critical and prejudiced people, sometimes. But I am here to say that this is not true, at least not to all the Christians in a whole. God's love and He teaches love, so as His sons we should love more and judging less, if someone you know does something that you don't agree with, don't push it, tell him (gently) how you feel about it, but also be understanding to this person, pray for him, and have a open mind, ask Jesus to take all the scales that blinding you. See this person with God's eyes."So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.." Matthew 7:12

Yesterday was Valentine's Day, or Love's Day. But what's love? What this simple word does mean? Since we born we feel love, searches say that our first love is our mother, the purest form of love and care. As we grow we know other forms of love, we love our siblings, then our friends, and someday we find our soul mate. And we can say that's easy to love those people, because they love us back, but how to love your enemies? How to love and care about strangers? That kind of love isn't human but divine, when God says that who loves Him but doesn't love his similar is a lier it's because is impossible to love God and don't love His creation, because God's essence is inside of every human, even in the bad ones. This verse can be said to a friend, a mother/father, a brother/sister, to anyone that is special to you. God made a lot of wonders, but His master piece is the human being, with all its defects and imperfections, the humanity is full of peculiarities unique, that is nothing but a legacy of its Creator, so everytime I see this kind of kindness in someone else's eyes, everytime I see the truth in a smile, I thank God for that life, I praise Him because that was wonderful and fearfully made by Him. Interviewing Wm. Paul Young.

Reading a book is like watching a movie, the difference is that in your imagination the resources are infinite, and the special effects are not limited to what technology can do, in a book, although you can't choose the script, you are responsible for all the details of the scenario. Great books gave rise to the Oscars winning films, and that's why Hollywoodeaqui.com wants to start 2013 encouraging the reading, and to brighten this article we have an exclusive interview with the author of the bestseller The Shack, William Paul Young, who fondly answered our request and granted us an interview to talk about his new book, Cross Roads. Check it out:

HEA: You consider your first book an "accident", you had no idea how great it would be, or how far it would reach. But when you wrote Cross Roads, you had something in mind? Which public you wanted to reach?

Wm.: I was with an aspiring writer a few evenings ago and asked her, "If your art, in this case writing, only touches one life, will that be enough?"  She thought before she answered and then said, "No, it won't be enough."  I told her, "Then you don't understand the value of the 'one', you would never leave the 99 to go find just the one (like Jesus would)."  She understood.

I don't write with an agenda trying to take people from one idea to another.  I would rather be in the creative activity of exploring a question or discovering and expanding creative space. Other people are able to hear for themselves.

HEA: All the dialogues in The Shack and Cross Roads are really touching, and full of wisdom, when you write as God, Jesus and Holy Spirit you consider as your own words or you think that you are a channel to transmit their words? 

Wm.: Instead of imagery and metaphor of channelling, I would much rather understand it as participation inside a relationship.  As human beings we are all growing and changing.  What you believe today will be considerably different in ten or twenty years, and yet you think you are completely right today.  I know that I am not.  I believe there is a God who not only invites participation but won't do many things without ours.  So we must assume that God is willing to participate with flawed and broken people.  After all, God participates with flawed people all the time in the creation of new human beings (conception) and then participates with them as they raise their children, and human beings make many mistakes as parents.  I don't write my books or raise my children by myself, but God does write them alone either...we participate together.  That is why life and creativity tends to be a mess, because you and I have been invited to participate.

HEA: Cross Roads was inspired in someone close of you? A relative, a friend? What was your inspiration to write this new book?

Wm.: Even though it is an 'accident' (not from God's point of view) that I have become a published author, I have always been a writer, especially for friends and family.  That won't change.  Inspiration is a community event.  No human being is an island to themselves.  Our histories together, our conversations, the music we listen to, the choices we make, how a rainbow touches us, our prayers, our ability to think about ideas...these are only a few of the influences that work together to inspire.

HEA: You visited Brazil in 2011 and had the chance to know your brazilian fans and openly talk about The Shack, do you have plans to come to Brazil this year to promote Cross Roads?

Wm.: I would love to come again, maybe this time with Baxter Kruger, the author of The Shack Revisited, who is a wonderful friend.  I loved both of my visits to Brazil and find Brazilians to among the kindest, spiritually sensitive and warmest people on the planet.  We will see.

HEA: And to finish, what you would like to say to all the brazilian teenagers, why they should read Cross Roads?

Wm.: I am not one to tell anyone they 'should' do anything.  Rather, I would invite you into the story and the conversation that it will raise both inside your own heart and also inside those in your community who have read the book.  Cross Roads is a story that explores and raises new questions.  I never set out with any sort of agenda such as 'life lessons'.  I would rather create space, or push out the walls of existing space and make room for others to hear within that landscape whatever it is that God might want to communicate.  Having said that, there are certainly themes in what I write, such as the value of each individual person, of a God who is good all the time regardless of our perception of the character and nature of that God, and that God is involved inside the details of our lives with great respect and affection independent of our ability to perform to religious creed or requirement. May we all become people who believe that life is bigger than death!

I've read The Shack and as Amber Sweeney said, "it's life changing." 

I'm currently reading Cross Roads and I'm speechless to compliment Wm. Paul Young,

The right to living.

Dear readers, it's amazing how Sophia Bush has been my inspiration to write about politics and polemics situations lately. I woke up this morning and as usually I logged on my twitter and read Sophia Bush's tweets about abortion and what would be God's point of view about that.

Honestly, I wish I had the answer to that question, but the Bible doesn't speak specifically about that, probably this kind of situation wasn't a issue in that time. Maybe because a child was always seen as a blessing from de Lord, not an accident or something that arrived at a bad time. The Bible says: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)


I believe that God has a plan for every child that borns, as the Bible says He knows us before that we born. So, my first answer is ABORTION it's NOT okay! A child doesn't have to pay for the parent's mistakes. If you got pregnant at a bad time, or you're not expecting that, accept this as a gift from God, let this child be a blessing in your life. The life is full of surprises.  

"You never know where the next miracle is going to come from, the next smile. The next wish come true. But if you believe that it is right around the corner. And you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it. To the certainty of it. You just might get the thing you're wishing for."

- But, (there's always a but) in case of an incest or rape? Well, in that case I honestly don't know, I think in that case there's no wrong or right answer, I mean, I agree with Sophia Bush, God doesn't plan that women be raped, but sometimes it just happens, maybe this child won't be the result of love between two people, but it's still a child, I guess that every child deserves to live, to be loved and protected, so if you think you can't give that, give to adoption, or to parents that will love this child, but don't deny it the right of living.

I'm not here to judge, I'm just giving my opinion, I know that every rule has its exception. Whatever you choose to your life do it with your heart and conscience about the consequences.

Your voice matters!

First of all I have to say that it's my first article about politic, I'm kind of nervous because I actually don't like to discuss subjects like this, but after all the happenings, I have decided to share my thougths. You're free to read or not, to agree or disagree, but remember, I'm free to give my opnion and I can do this without offend anyone, I hope you too.

As a brazilian and a third person opinion, I have to say that the elections in the USA matters no just to the country here in question but to all the world. So, I understand why people are standing up to defending their beliefs. As they use to say "this is America". 

This view of freedom of expression is something that has been used incorrectly sometimes, but what can I say, we're talking about human beings, ie, we talking about something that is prone to failure. It's not a system of machines that works in order and alignment according to our will, they have their own will, and I respect that, but sometimes express our opinion is more than a right, it's also a duty, a duty to be something useful, something right. If expressing my opinion includes desrespect other person, I don't think I shoud speak it out.

Last night we had the last debate between the candidates to the presidency, but this debate has created an external debate between the supporters of both sides, what could been something healthy (a nice talk) if rude words were not been included, but they were. Many celebrities are showing their support, not to try convince people to do what they want, but to use their voice to defend what they believe. So, this shouldn't be a reason to some people create a war, it's not people against people, it's people looking for what is gonna be better to the country as a whole.

Making use of my right of express my opinion, I want to clarify something about Sophia Bush, you might don't like her as an actress (what I think is impossible), but as human being she has been exceptional, fighting for women rights, children's better future, equality and more humanity. So, unless you're doing better, don't criticize, okay?

As a Christian, I have to say, I wouldn't put my trust in someone who distorts the word of God, not really. So, using Shantel Vansanten words: "Before voting inform yourself and  make a choice with your conscience, intelligence and heart! Your voice and vote matters!"
And if you're a Christian as I am, pray before you voting, let the people's voice be the God's voice as well.
Vote wisely.
